He was predeceased by: his grandson Zachary Armstrong; his parents, Harold Armstrong and Thelma Armstrong (McGee); and his siblings, Claudia Taylor (Cameron), Marie Pesheau (Gerald), Beverley Scott (Ronnie), Douglas (Darlene) and Ellis (Verla).
He is survived by: his wife Donna Armstrong (Bennett); his son Craig Armstrong (Jacquie) of New Carlow; his granddaughter Sarah Bierworth (Nik); and his siblings, Gwennie Davis (Don), Eric Armstrong (Helen), Shelby Lentz (Phil) and Ian Armstrong (Aileen). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family Memorial Service and interment took place at New Carlow Cemetery, with The Rev. Darlene Cunliffe officiating.
