He was predeceased by: his wife Jean (Jeanne D'Arc Amyot); his grandchildren, Caitlyn Mayhew (Brandon), Thomas Latimer, Meghan Latimer, Evan Champagne (Robin) and Logan Morin; and his great grandchildren, Lydia and Carson.
He is survived by: his children, Pauline Latimer (Kevin), Brian McLean and Tammy Morin (Greg); his siblings, Donald MacLean, Gordon MacLean, Helen Novack (Larry) and Debbie Cripps (James); and his friend Carol.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Russell's memory can be made to SickKids or the Canadian Lung Association.
