He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrien Robidas and Rita Robidas; his brother Christian; and his granddaughter Samantha Bastien. He is survived by: his wife Jeannine; his children, Mario (Carol), Marius (Cheryle), Lynne (Ray) and Marc (Lea); his siblings, Diane (Claude), Michel, Venise, Yvan (Lois), Collette (Bernie), Daniel, Bruno (Wendy) and Sylvie (Gilles); his grandchildren, Brooke (Chad), Nikolaus (Kristen), Addison, Renee (Denaya), Tiffany (Erik), Jessica (Tyler), Robin (Scott), Tara (Michelle), Brandon, Noa, Ella and Owen; and his great grandchildren, Brynlee, Easton, Hendrik, Eli, Sophia and Kayden.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Ste Annes Cemetery fund can be made on Jean-Pierre's behalf.
