It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Todd Alexander Barton (Martintown, Ontario), who passed away on October 8, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Barton and Barbara Barton. He is survived by: his children, Drew and Jill Barton; his brothers, Russell Barton (Lynne) and Allan Barton (Sonia); his stepmother Marilyn Barton; his aunts, Marjorie (Gabe) and Beverley; and his uncle Jimmy (Judy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and beloved dog.

As expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

“Todd has left us much too early, but I fondly remember my time with him picking corn in Martintown and selling it from a makeshift stall — more likely an old table dragged from the barn — on the side of the road. A highlight of his visits to our house as a child was lying on his back on the hood of his mom's car at the end of the runway, watching the planes land and take off from Dorval Airport. — Karen Temple”
