He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony DeGenova and Dorothy DeGenova; and his brothers, Bruce and Gerry. He is survived by: his girlfriend Marie Wright; his sons, Monty DeGenova of Belleville and Darren DeGenova (Yoshimi) of Etobicoke; his stepchild Chris Wright (Kim) of Carrying Place; his siblings, Bob, Bev, Pete, Dave, Nancy and Danny; his grandchildren, Darlene and Morgan; and his pet Sophie.
Due to his love of animals, donations in Michael's memory can be made to the Quinte Humane Society.
