Martha Elisabeth Byrnes Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Elisabeth Byrnes of Marmora, Ontario, who passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Byrnes; her daughters, Karen, Linda, Janice and Anne; and her siblings, Louis, Charlie, Clementine, Marie, Rosalie, Annie, Frank, Albert, Tom and Delphine.

She is survived by: her children, Robert (Karen), Tom (Debbie) and Cathy; her grandchildren, Alex (Jennifer), Jennifer (Geoff), Nicholas (Siobhan), Monika (Bryan), Taylor, Sarah (Javi), Brendan (Natasha), Angela (Brian), Emma and Rosalie (Artem); her great grandchildren, Janice, Kayden, Fischer, Charlotte, Avery and Summer; and her sister Marguerite Finnegan.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Rushnell Funeral Homes - Marmora (9 Bursthall St, Marmora, ON K0K2M0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (38 Bursthall St, Marmora, ON K0K2M0).
