With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ida O'Connor of Marmora, Ontario, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ida left this world on March 8, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Matthews and Simon Matthews; her husband Jack O'Connor; and her brothers, Ross Matthews, Art Matthews (Jane) and Kenneth Matthews (Charlotte).
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann (Allan Tapp), Clarence O'Connor (Suzie), Stanley O'Connor (Sharon), Arthur O'Connor (Linda), Marjorie Madill (Lloyd), Janet Milligan and Carol O'Connor (Willem Jansen); her grandchildren, Christina, James, Shannon, Erin, Hannah, Brittany, John Ross, Candice, William, Sheri, Carl, Charity, Wesley, Jennafer and Lori; and her siblings, Helen Warren (late Boyd), Alice Bronson (Larrie), Marion Burkitt (Denton) and Thomas. She is also survived by 28 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rushnell Funeral Homes - Marmora (9 Bursthall St, Marmora, ON K0K2M0). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (38 Bursthall St, Marmora, ON K0K2M0).
