He is survived by: his wife Wendy Wise of Markham; his children, Allan (Ling), Deanna (Eric) and Jeanette (Mike); his siblings, Sandy and Barbara; his parents, Robina Peak and Owen Peak; and his stepchildren, Janet, Tim, Gord (Sharon), Sally (Joe) and Pam (Bob). He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Rod enjoyed studying old aircraft and started an online club of like-minded people during the Covid pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospital.
