He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Esther (Oran Dickie) and Raymond; his wife Gail; his children, Laura and Randal (Gabriella); his grandchildren, Aisha, Kohen, Jessica and Rachael; and his siblings, Ian, Doreen and Brian. He was also cherished by his nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
He made significant contributions to the preservation of Canada's natural ecosystems in his career with Conservation Authorities, Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources.
