He is survived by: his wife Maria; his sons, Domenic and Lucas; his sister Catharina "Sui Kim" (Hendrik); his nieces and nephews, Emily (Gerry), Justin, Christopher, Theodore (Rachel), Dylan, Morgan and Sophia; his great-nephew Noah; his great-nieces, Ava and Lily Grace; and his siblings-in-law, Wendy, Therese (Alex), Rosa, Vincent (Mary), Agatha, Thomas and Johannes Poerwanto (Linh).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Markham Chapel (10 Cachet Woods Ct, Markham, ON L6C3G1). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Church (265 Alton Towers Cir, Scarborough, ON M1V4E7). A burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Christ the King Cemetery (7770 Steeles Ave E, Markham, ON L6B1A8).
