She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph; her parents, Jean Porter and Jim Porter; and her family, Joyce, David Huntley, Linda Newell-Porter, Eugene Macdonald, Ernestine, Eugene Kinch, Loretta and Joe Macdonald.
She is survived by: her children, Craig, Michael (Genevieve), Jackie Bartkiw (Greg) and Patti Mikula (Eric); her grandchildren, Joseph, Elizabeth Macdonald, Grace, James, Andrew, Rebecca, Emma Bartkiw and Owen Mikula; her siblings, Gerry Porter (Jill), Helen Rambo and Bud Wilson (Anita); her siblings-in-law, Marjorie Macdonald, Joan Macdonald, Eleanor Handrahan (Paul) and Philip Macdonald (Roseanne); and her significant other Joe. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Following a long journey with Alzheimer's, as a final act of charity, she has contributed to the body of research at Sunnybrook Hospital in the search for a cure. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Sunnybrook Foundation (https://donate.sunnybrook.ca) or Unionville Home Society.
