He is survived by: his wife Velma; his children, Elizabeth (Matt) and Sean; his granddaughter Sheridan; and his brother Gary (Jan).

A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (143 Main Street Markham N, Markham, ON L3P1Y2). A reception was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St Andrews Presbyterian Church (143 Main Street Markham N, Markham, ON L3P1Y2).
