It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Mraz (Markham, Ontario), who passed away on March 20, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Mraz to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though George may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his children, Pat (Roy), Beverly (late Paul), Gina and Steve (Julie); and his siblings, Joan, Irene, Albert and Mary. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 11th 2025 at the Moose Lodge (731 Wilson Rd S, Oshawa, ON L1H6E9).
