Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Evelyn Rheta Burkholder (Markham, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 102, on July 27, 2023. She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard Burkholder; her parents, Edwin Byer and Ruth Byer; her siblings, Erle, Dorothy Smith and Edith Hunsberger; her son-in-law Murray Nash; and her parents-in-law, Edith Byer, Roy Smith, Wilson Hunsberger, Jay Hochstetler, Evelyn Byer, Walter, Florence Burkholder, Aaron, Mary Good, Gordon, Hannah Wideman, Philip and Ada Barg.
She is survived by: her children, Kristine Nissley (Stan), Louise Wideman (Dave), Eleanor Nash, Betti Erb (Greg Van Horn), Marie, George (Nancy Peart), Elfreda (Quinton Neufeldt) and Charles (Miranda Hughes); and her siblings, Helen Hochstetler and Art Byer. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
