She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Shail and Mary Shail; her parents-in-law, Alfred and Madeline Taylor; her siblings, Craig Taylor and Joyce Ireland; and her siblings-in-law, Joan Melancon, Rene Melancon and Daryl Lewis.
She is survived by: her husband Ted Taylor; her daughters, Cheryl Taylor (Russell Newall), Lynn Pyke (Kym), Cathy Collins and Lori Hernandez (Jason); her grandchildren, Ben, Connor Newall, Jayden, Tayla Pyke, Ava, Sophie Hernandez and Logan Collins; her sisters, Carol McGregor and Faye Shail; and her sister-in-law Barbara Lewis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Dixon - Garland Funeral Home (166 Main Street N, Markham, ON L3P 1Y3). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Philip's On-The-Hill Anglican Church (9400 Kennedy Rd, Markham, ON L6C1N6).
