I had the pleasure of working with Douglas in northwestern Ontario and we connected through a common interest of sharing good food. When I left to move with my husband Patrick to Australia, Douglas gifted me with an amazing cookbook featuring food and customs from his home country. The cookbook came with me to Australia and I took comfort reading the personal message Douglas left”
