It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claire Akiko Moriyama (Markham, Ontario), who passed away on November 2, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Seibi Moriyama; and her parents, Hideko Matoba and Tom Matoba. She is survived by: her close friend Sam Koyata; her children, Keith (Janine) and Joni (Rob); her grandson Kio Reid; and her sisters, Rei Shin, Rumi and Erie Koike.
