He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lawler and Jean Lawler of Maxwell; his siblings, Stanley, Floyd, Marilyn Mullin and Marian Lawler; and his brothers-in-law, Elmer Mullin and Grant Betts.
He is survived by: his wife Blanche; his children, Douglas (Joy) and Margaret (Francis O'Connor); his grandchild Ciara O'Connor; his siblings, Gwen and Gerald; and his sisters-in-law, Edythe Lawler, Norma Lawler and Ruth Matthews (Mike).
