She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Russell and Lillian Russell; her stepmother Belle Russell; and her siblings, Verna Littlejohns, Walter, Don, Elmer, Ernie, Burton and Maurice.
She is survived by: her spouse Harold Johnston of Markdale; her children, Pauline Johnston (Tim Wilton) of Markdale and David Johnston (Jennifer Macdonald) of Markdale; her grandchildren, Kate Wilton, Ellen Wilton, Nichola Johnston and Liam Johnston; her siblings, Ivan Russell of Owen Sound, Lois Sewell of Meaford, May Breadner (Doug) of Meaford and Ken Russell (Donna) of Markdale; and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Johnston and Jim Johnston.
