Gordon Bennett Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon Bennett of Markdale, Ontario, who passed away on January 11, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gordon Bennett to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Louise Bennett; his brothers-in-law, Paul MacMillan (Mary) and Don MacMillan (late Trudy); and his siblings, Edward Bennett, Reginald Bennett (late Joan), Frank Bennett (late Isabelle), Ross Bennett (Bernice), Howard Bennett, Dorothy Brown (late Jim) and Marjorie Brown (late Harold).
He is survived by: his daughters, Sheri Bennett, Tricia (Ken Peterson) and Theresa Bennett; his grandchildren, Damien (Leah), Terell, Tristan, Kendra and Joseph; his brother Raymond Bennett; his siblings-in-law, Michael MacMillan (Marg), Francis MacMillan (Susan), Cathy McNeil (Bob) and Gerry MacMillan Patrick MacMillan (Jeanette); and his friend Elaine Coleman.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home (166 Bruce St N, Durham, ON N0G1R0). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. The family has requested donations be made to the following charities (please choose one): Canadian Cancer Society.
