He is survived by: his wife Brigitte Halbgebauer; his children, Sabine (Manuel), Michael (Andrea) and Petra (Cort); his grandchildren, Christopher, Nicklas, Emmon, Mya, Emily and Cort; and his sisters, Heidi Tobler and Iris Hoffle.
