He was predeceased by: his grandchild Mattea; his parents, Howard Matthews and Margaret Matthews; and his brother-in-law Chris Williton (Denise). He is survived by: his wife Janice Matthews; his daughters, Manon Cuthbertson (Jamie), Margaret Matthews (Joss) and Stephanie Winters; his grandchildren, Natalie, James, Jada, Eve, Joss, Emma and Angelina; and his siblings, Mac, Harvey, Shirley Richardson (Bill) and Judy Bruzas (Harold). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial contributions (payable by cheque) to Alzheimer's Society, ARCH or The Sault Ste. Marie Canal National Historic Site of Canada (The Locks) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
