He was predeceased by: his spouse Kay Weatherhead; his parents, Margaret Weatherhead and Peter Weatherhead; and his siblings, Lloyd (Betty), Norman (Dorothy), John (Marion), William (Betty), Roy, Eva Wilkinson (Morris), Mae Worsley (Harold) and Thelma Sharples.

He is survived by: his children, Carol (Roy Shouldice) of Owen Sound, Linda Weatherhead of Cambridge and Steven (Janet) of Wiarton; his grandchildren, Pam (Mark), Nicole (Ian), Natasha (Greg), Kaitlynn (Jesse), Justin (Jessica) and Sarah; his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Riley, Aiden and Callum; and his sister-in-law Lucy Weatherhead.
