He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Monk and Susan Monk of Monkstown; his daughters, Baby Monk and Beverly Garnett (Richard); his sisters-in-law, Clayton, Minnie, Archibald, Elsie and Clarissa; his sister Effie; his brother-in-law John Dunphy; and his brother Maxwell.
He is survived by: his wife Ivy; his daughter Brenda Cappus (Don); his grandchildren, Courtney Loos (Tim), Grayson Cappus (Megan) and Janet Bryce (Ian); and his great grandchildren, Preston Cappus and Elsie Cappus. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
