James Maki Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Maki in Maple, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 7, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jeanette; his grandchildren, Jeremy Maki, Lindsey Onishenko (Pete), Jessica Poirier (Guy), Jamie Neville (Matt), Jeff Maki, Steve Maki (Joanna), Josh Maki (Tara), Craig Maki, Laura Kern (Jason), Lisa Campbell (Sean), Luke Scornaienchi and Jacob Scornaienchi; his great grandchildren, Camdon, Elijah, Londyn, Andie, Isla, Benjamin and Miles; his parents, Bill Maki and Ena Maki; and his sister Louise Ironside.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A5K7). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Church (585 Allens Sideroad, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A 6K4).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Christ Church, the Algoma Pregnancy Centre, or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
