She was predeceased by: her son Eric Kempf; her parents, Martin Staub and Frances Staub; her siblings, Catherine Riviere (Edward), Marianne Heinimann (Marcus), Mary Ann Schweder (Karl) and Martin Staub Jr.; her parents-in-law, Frank and Mary Kempf; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Stokl (Frank).

She is survived by: her children, Shelley Turner (Richard) and Frank Kempf Jr. (Paula); her grandsons, Andrew, Stuart, Bryan and Colby; and her siblings, Michael Staub (Gwen), Joe Freund (Norma) and Betty Steiner (late John). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, Parkinsons Foundation or the Lake Lisgar Revitalization Project.
