It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Madeleine Rosella Charlton of Manitowaning, Ontario, who passed away at the age of 90, on April 4, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Evalena Jaggard and Guy Jaggard; her husband John; and her siblings, Harry Jaggard (Gladys), Violet, Lillian (Charles Viney), Bessie (James Lockyer), Florence (Walter Lenson), Beulah and Iris Jaggard.

She is survived by: her children, Cheryl, John "Tom" White of Manitowaning, Patricia Linkert of Calgary, AB, Ed and Jeannie Charlton of Newmarket; her grandchildren, Donald, John Wilson, Kerrie, Wade Kruger, Bradley, Bryan White, Emily, Jordan Lazareth and Erin Charlton; and her caregiver John.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoulin Health Centre Auxiliary or the Community of Christ Church. Please note Island Funeral Home can only accept cheques for donations.
