She was predeceased by: her husband Stewart Oakes; and her son Graeme (Carol) of Conestoga Lake. She is survived by: her children, John (Judy) of Markham and Milne (Mary Lou) of Waterloo; her grandsons, David Oakes of Manitouwadge and Bryan (Robin) of Shelburne; and also Chloe Oakes.
