With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sidney Sytsma of Mallorytown, Ontario, who passed away on December 30, 2020 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sidney Sytsma to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his brothers-in-law, Wietse Terpstra and John VanderMey; and his parents, Dirk Sytsma and Wietske Nicolai. He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Sytsma; his children, Katie Stevenson (Bill), Amy Lalonde (John), Jacqueline Bell (Greg), Derek Sytsma (Karen), Nathan Sytsma (Alicia) and Emily Sytsma (Will); his grandchildren, Hannah, Jacob, Benjamin, Jeremiah Lalonde, Rebecca, Samantha, James Stevenson, Haven Sytsma, Graydon and Frank Bell; and his siblings, Betty Terpstra of Chilliwack, B. C., Rena VanderMey of Lyn, Rita VanSpriel (Dick) of Athens, Charlie Sytsma (Kim) of Athens and Rick Sytsma (Liz) of Guelph.

Due to Covid restrictions, a Private Family Service will be held at Judson Funeral Home Athens, on Saturday January 2nd, 2020.
