With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Lockett (Maitland, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 31, 2025 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Lockett to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her brother-in-law Robert Lockett (Linda). She is survived by: her husband Steve Lockett; her children, Shawn Lockett (Lisa) and Amy Lockett; her grandchildren, Brenden (Emily), Zachary and Mason; her siblings, Brenda Good-Moore, Larry Good (Shelley) and Shelley Plooy (Bill); and her in-laws, Tom Lockett (Rosemary) and John Lockett (Gisele). She is also survived by Aunt to her many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Irvine Memorial Chapel (2451 County Rd 15, Maitland, ON K0E1P0). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, and in the spirit of Ruth's extensive charity work, a donation to the Prescott Food Bank (serving South Grenville area), The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 97 Prescott, The Alzheimer Society of Lanark, Leeds and Grenville, The Brockville General Hospital Foundation, or a charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
