He was predeceased by: his former wife Arleen Baker; his wife Hazel Coote; his parents, Charles Michael Baker and Florence Baker; and his brothers, George Baker, Harold Baker and Carl Baker.

He is survived by: his children, Reginald Baker Jr. (Nurika Pol Baker) of Smiths Falls, William Baker (Dianne Baker) of Lyn, ON, John Baker (Valerie Baker) of North Langcaster and Tina Baker of Ottawa; his grandchildren, James MacIssac of Montreal, Wayne Baker (Angela) of Trenton, Adam Baker (Olga) of Montreal, Crystal Graveline (Josh) of Brockville, Jonathan Baker of Montreal, Christopher Baynham-Baker (Alyssa) of Ottawa and Nickolas Baynham-Baker (Nadia) of Ottawa; his great grandchildren, Alex, Zacery of Trenton, Kaleb, Dax of Brockville and Renée of Ottawa; and his stepchildren, Gregory Coote (Sandra) of Almonte, Cindy Wright (Eric) and Kevin Coote.
