She was predeceased by: her spouse David Ballantyne; her parents, Sherwood Hanna and Phoebe Hanna; and her siblings, Bessie Earl, Audrey Slack and Elmer Hanna.

She is survived by: her child Bruce Ballantyne; her daughter-in-law Carol Ballantyne (Boyd); her grandchildren, Kevin Ballantyne and Jason Ballantyne (Camille); her great grandchild Ava; and her sister-in-law Betty Nantel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged.
