She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Kernick; and her sister-in-law Marion Castle. She is survived by: her children, Margaret Allen (Brian) of Orillia, Ted Kernick (Anne) of West Perth and Mary Spence (John) of Goderich; her grandchildren, Nathan Allen, Myles Allen, Lisa Scotchmer (Tom), Lori Kernick, Sarah Campbell (Andrew) and Joe Turford (Carly); her great grandchildren, Brent, Ally Scotchmer, Ethan, Elizabeth, Charlotte, Lorraine Campbell, Lola and Lars Turford; and her brother Reg Castle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
