With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan Anstead (Maitland, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joan left this world on April 9, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Anstead; her parents, Jean Robinson and George Robinson; and her brother Richard Robinson. She is survived by: her daughters, Wendy White and Linda Anstead; her grandchildren, Britney, Alex White, Mitchell (Rhea) and Sara Pusztai; her great grandchild Dominik Laverdure-Pusztai; and her roomie Leona. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Irvine Memorial Chapel (2451 County Rd 15, Maitland, ON K0E1P0). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn Reception Centre (2451 County Rd 15, Maitland, ON K0E1P0).
