He is survived by: his wife Theresa Brereton; his children, Sherrie McColl (David) and Jason Brereton (Stacey); his grandchildren, Nicholas (Angela), Jayden McColl, Kayleigh McColl, Brianna and Brooke Brereton; and his siblings, Monica Irvine (Barry) and Kees Brugman (Els).
