He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Fox and Grace Fox (Barton); and his siblings, Margaret Fox, Hazel Kirkland, Eliza Kirkland-Reid, Lucy Wing, Mildred Wooffinden, Lulu Rennick, Gordan, Jack, Elmer, Mansel and Harry Fox.

He is survived by: his spouse Edna Fox; his children, Charles Fox Jr. (Debbie), Donna Fox and Steven Fox (Colleen); his grandchildren, Michael Fox, Matthew Fox (Meghan), Nicole Gilson and Colton Gilson (Jill); his great grandchildren, Tamara, Nicholas, Elijah and Gabriel; and his siblings, Evelyn Plant and Beatrice Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
