He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelmina Steketee and Jacobus Steketee; his siblings, Kees and Sara; his son Gary; and his brothers-in-law, Johan, Max, Chris and Piet.
He is survived by: his spouse Prien; his daughter Yvonne; his son-in-law Steven Shepard; his siblings, Jane, Maddy, Lisa (John), Nellie (Al) and Hans (Jane); and his brother-in-law Kurt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
