The memory of Sheila McEwen of Madoc, Ontario, who passed away on January 28, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Dafoe and Elma Dafoe; her children, Barbara McEwen, Kenny McEwen and Calvin McEwen; her siblings, Francis, George, Raymond, Bill, Leslie, Morris, Sharon, Betty, Karen and Lois; and her grandson Archie.
She is survived by: her children, Janett Brooks (Ivan) of Northbrook, Dorothy Arnold (Terry) of Smiths Falls, Laura Moon of Corbyville, Nancy Meideros (Moe) of Stratford and Wendy Smith of Cobourg; her siblings, Gladys, Edna and Lloyd; and her grandchildren, Danielle, Anthony, Justin, Ashley, Tina, Tammy, Jeremy, Terry, Sharrese, Deborah, Ann of Adam, A. J., Hunter, Mitch, Ciji, Ryan, Krystal and Anne. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rushnell Funeral Homes - Madoc (112 Durham St S, Madoc, ON K0K2K0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
