She was predeceased by: her husband Charles "Chuck" James Mowat; her parents, Robert Henry "Harry" Canning and Sadie Myrtle Canning (Little); and her brother John Buck. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer L. Mowat and Christopher C. Mowat; her grandchildren, Alyshia Mowat-O'Brien, Aidan Wahlberg (Patrick Leslie), Tremayne and Sevastjan Wahlberg; her great grandchildren, Terry and Saoirse; and her nephews, Martin, Jack and Tom Buck.
