She was predeceased by: her husband Beverly Barkley; her parents, Clarence Towsley and Margaret Towsley of Cardinal; her siblings, Katherine Harrison, George Towsley, Richard Towsley, Donald Towsley and Suzanne Powers; and her daughter-in-law Linda Barkley.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Barkley of Madoc, Penny Wheeler (Ronald) of Chesterville, Douglas Barkley (Kelly) of Ingleside, Donald Barkley (Shirley) of Chesterville and Cecil Barkley of Cornwall; her grandchildren, Lyle Barkley, Cheryl Dustin (David), Ivan Arsenault (Kara), Amanda Arsenault, Nicholas Wheeler, Taylor Barkley, Calyssa Barkley, Mackenzie Barkley, Steven Seymour and Kisha Richardson; and her sister Alice Barkley of Winchester.
