Gilda Derrett Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2024, at the age of 77, Gilda Derrett (Madoc, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Beauford Jeffrey Croft of Port Hope and Verna Jane Davis of Port Hope; and her brother Garry (Karen) of Port Hope. She is survived by: her friend Cheryl Cox; her children, Angela Nicholson (Ralph) of Eldorado, Eric Derrett (Maggie) of Tweed, Colleen Gear (Jason) of Bannockburn and Bobby Cox (Amanda) of Bannockburn; her grandchildren, Chelsea, Devan, Noah, Sadie, Jordan, Ella and Gracey; her great grandchildren, Kyla, Logan, Eva, Rylee Lin and Delaney; and her siblings, Elizabeth Birks (Bryan) of Port Hope, Carolyn (Dwayne) of Castleton and Grant of Port Hope.
A graveside service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Lakeview Cemetery (135 Concession Rd, Madoc, ON K0K2K0).
