She is survived by: her husband Joseph; her children, Joanne Dixon (Gord), Rick DeMarsh (Anne) and Tim DeMarsh (Lori); her grandchildren, Rebecca Ingersoll (Tayson), Bethany Gonyea (Noah), Krystin Shering (Sean), Josh DeMarsh, Graham Smith and Adam Smith; and her sister Marjorie Shorts (Edward).
Memorial donations in memory of Elsie may be made to the Heart of Hastings Hospice.
