He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Smetaniuk and Anastasia Smetaniuk. He is survived by: his spouse Pam; his children, Ryan (Danielle), Logan (Bernie) and Emma (Evan); his grandfather Dido; his grandson Bohdi Wilder; and his siblings, Olia Dallimore (Tom), Luba Barchynsky (Zenon), Toronto Smetaniuk, Taras Smetaniuk (Audrey) and Cold Lake Alberta.
