With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Krystyna Ackney of Madawaska, Ontario, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Krystyna had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Krystyna may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jozef Gajda and Maria Karinowski Gajda; and her brother John Gajda. She is survived by: her husband Brian Ackney of Madawaska; her brother Adam Gajda; and her children, Liza Serra, Diane Renaud (Michel), Suzanne Gomes (Dan) and Allie Large (Ken).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heubner Funeral Home (43 Stafford St, Barry's Bay, ON K0J1B0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
