He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Elizabeth Merrick. He is survived by: his sister Phyllis Vessey; his children, Jill Bresnahan and Brian Ackney; his daughter-in-law Krystyna Ackney; his grandchildren, Ashley Bresnahan (Jeff Pugh) and Allan Bresnahan (Kara); and his great grandchildren, Rylynn, Sierra Pugh and John Bresnahan.
