She was predeceased by: her spouse William Latimer; and her parents, Herbert Simpson and Beatrice Simpson (Dunster). She is survived by: her child Melissa Latimer; her grandchildren, Liam Donnelly and Abagail Donnelly; and her siblings, Betty Box (Glen), Linda Weddum (Martin), Florence Andress (Peter), Shirley Easter, Pat Simpson, Barbara Box, Reggie Simpson (Bonnie), Cindy LePage (Alex), Debbie Carley (Dwight), Carol Cross Fay Simpson (David) and Penny Bahm (Brent). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In memory of Mary, donations to Christ United Church, Lyn or the Cancer Centre of South Eastern Ontario at the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
