He was predeceased by: his former wife Gail Grant; his son Russell "Rusty"; and his grandchildren, Steven Ann and Katie Ann. He is survived by: his spouse Mary Mackie of Lucknow; his children, Kelly Mackie of Listowel, Sharon Stewart of Southampton, Steve Nicholson (Suzanne) of Ripley, Scott Nicholson (Kathi), Lucknow Haldenby and Sherri Haldenby (Rob); his siblings, Shirley Kitchener (Norman), Don Mackie (Shirley) and Bruce Mackie (Marie); his brothers-in-law, Gordon Pannabecker (Claudia) and Ross Pannabecker (Glenna); and also District Hospital. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
