He was predeceased by: his spouse Marion (Dagnall); his parents, Harry and Laura; his granddaughter Katelyn Kelly; and also Effie.
He is survived by: his children, Laura, Jim Steffler of Holyrood, Mary-Jane, Fred Kelly of Nestor Falls, Gerald McFarlane (Joanne) and Jim McFarlane; and his siblings, Bryant McFarlane (Frances) of Hamilton and Sheila Ravn (Art) of Hamilton. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Donations to the Lucknow United Church appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
