He was predeceased by: his parents, Denis Long and Nora Long (Murphy); and his siblings, Denis, Philip Long and Carol Simick.
He is survived by: his brothers, Richard Long (Janice) and Patrick Long (Victoria); and his brother-in-law Rick Simick. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
