She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Slits and Nolda Slits; her husband Bill VanDyke; and her siblings, Martin, Antone, Harrie, Bertus, Cato, Pieter, Jan, Drea, Anna and Anton.
She is survived by: her children, Henry, Pam of Lucknow, Nora, Ed Verkley of Atwood, Peter, Lisa of Point Clark, Tony and Laurie of Lucknow; and her grandchildren, Chris (Judy), Jayme Eadie (Joel), Nicole Henhoeffer (Matt), Adam Verkley (Krista), Steven Verkley (Melissa), Mark Verkley (Kaitlyn), Ben Verkley (Shannon), Darren, Justin (Leah), Tyler (Dayna), Luke (Brianna), Mitch (Nicole), Charlie, Max, Cooper, Griffin, Macy, Jocelyn, Brayden, Marley, Carson, Cole, Hallie and Layton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her friends.
